Seminar XXIII:Le Sinthome (拉岡桑)

I interpret the Sinthome as a voluntary symptom that aims at the unknown to discover new possibilities. (Brivic, 2008, Preface)

Therefore, it's like the event, or, existential imperative, not voluntary, nor involuntary.
