玄(元)鳥至：燕來也。雷乃發聲：雷者陽之聲，陽在陰內不得出，故奮激而為雷。
始電：電者陽之光，陽氣微則光不見，陽盛欲達而抑于陰。其光乃發，故開始閃電。
春分，古時又稱為“日中”、“日夜分”、“仲春之月”，在每年的3月21日前後(20日～22日)交節，農曆日期不固定，這時太陽到達黃經0°。
據《月令七十二候集解》：“二月中，分者半也，此當九十日之半，故謂之分。”另《春秋繁露?陰陽出入上下篇》說：“春分者，陰陽相半也，故晝夜均而寒暑平。”有《明史?曆一》說：“分者，黃赤相交之點，太陽行至此，乃晝夜平分。”所以，春分的意義，一是指一天時間白天黑夜平分，各為12小時；二是古時以立春至立夏為春季，春分正當春季三個月之中，平分了春季。

炎黃春秋
《炎黃春秋》是一本綜合中文月刊，1991年創刊，由中國炎黃文化研究會主編，編輯部在北京市西城區月壇南街69號。現任社長為杜導正，現任顧問包括李銳等人，現任副社長為徐慶全（常務）、李晨。因管理層遭撤換、編輯部被占領、官方網站密碼被修改，原製作班底於2016年7月17日宣布《炎黃春秋》停刊，但新的管理層仍繼續出刊。

驚蟄前日
驚蟄，是24節氣中的第三個節氣。每年3月5日或6日，太陽到達黃經345度時即為驚蟄，這時氣溫回升較快，漸有春雷萌動，驚蟄的意思是天氣回暖，春雷始鳴，驚醒蟄伏於地下冬眠的昆蟲。蟄是藏的意思。
《月令七十二候集解》中說：“二月節，萬物出乎震，震為雷，故曰驚蟄。是蟄蟲驚而出走矣。”晉代詩人陶淵明有詩曰：“促春遘（gòu）時雨，始雷發東隅，眾蟄各潛駭，草木縱橫舒。”實際上，昆蟲是聽不到雷聲的，大地回春，天氣變暖才是使它們結束冬眠，“驚而出走”的原因。
我國古代將驚蟄分為三候：“一候桃始華；二候倉庚（黃鸝）鳴；三候鷹化為鳩。”描述已是進入仲春，桃花紅、李花白，黃鶯嗚叫、燕飛來的時節。按照一般氣侯規律，驚蟄前後各地天氣已開始轉暖，雨水漸多，大部分地區都已進入了春耕。
