他 1965 年退休後承諾要完成多卷的 Humanistic Psychoanalysis 畢竟沒有完成 
Rainer Funk 用他的殘稿編輯而成的 The Revision of Psychoanalysis (1992) 畢竟不算真的完成

那個完成的困難是甚麼 

如果他 1965 年動筆十五年後完成
他要面對的精神分析必須包括客體關係學派依附理論自體心理學拉康
他本身與關係學派結識多年
到他 1980 過世 Stephen Mitchell & Jay Greenberg (1983) 尚未出版
所以我們可以說 M & G (1983) 幫他完成了他的對精神分析的改寫嗎
恐怕不行這是兩回事 M & G (1983) 並無意用社會學或 humanistic 的角度改寫精神分析

所以那個改寫的困難是甚麼

那個改寫必須由出入系統身處邊緣者為之
意思是說系統內者系統外者皆無由為之
Fromm 算不算系統外者如果算他無由為之
