The names of that area include narcissism, borderline, and perversion. That's why perversion is so fucking interesting.
That area is not mummy-daddy-me type family drama, nor is it florid psychotic. Compared with neurosis, that area is more akin to psychotic experience. That area is what Nietzsche said about 「human, all too human」. In other words, that area is tragedy itself. Post-structuralsm is tailor-made for that area. So is creativity, and of course destructiveness.
You see, I live in that area. I dislike neurosis, I hope they can loosen up to enjoy that area. I don't mind psychotic experience, which is not incompatible with life. I pity florid psychosis, I hope they can recover, at least partially, to enjoy that area, at least a little bit.
