How They Work
- Analog: Uses a continuous stream of data that goes up and down smoothly like a wave. Real-world things like sound, light, and temperature are naturally analog. [1, 2, 3]
- Digital: Uses separate, distinct steps or values. It turns information into numbers (on/off states) so computers and modern devices can read it. [1, 2, 3, 4]
